Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. CPHS encourages students to take exams for all of the AP classes that they have taken this school year. Scoring well on AP exams can often earn students college credit, saving a significant amount on tuition.
For the 2012 school year, CPHS students will be registering and paying online. The link will be on the CPHS website once registration opens. Registration dates are:
Regular Registration: Monday, January 30th thru Monday, February 20th - Exam fees are *$90.50 per exam.
Late Registration: Tuesday, February 21 – February 27th - *$90.50 per exam, plus an additional one-time late fee of $25
***For several years now, TEA has incurred $30 of the cost of each Advanced Placement exams taken by Texas students. The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has opted not to subsidize the cost of exams for Texas students this year, which has resulted in a price increase. We have just recently received this news from the State, but apologize for the inconvenience to our students and their families.
