CPHS competes in YMCA Youth & Government

Congratulations to the students who participated at our inaugural regional YMCA Youth and Government competition.  The 7 students who represented Cedar Park High School all did well enough to advance to the state competition! The YMCA Youth and Government creates a mock US government where students can participate in the legislative and judicial process. Our seven students presented bills, several of which were accepted to be presented at the state competition, argued for or against other bills, and served as clerks and chairs in the legislative process.

The seven students who participated with such excellence were Matt Grimm, Erin Barry, Eileen Hrusecky, Ricky Rosario,  Kate Schulle, Ridah Shaik and Kayla Frazier.  Ricky received special recognition as a Distinguished Delegate.
